Steinberg UR12 Headphone Stand

Steinberg Headphone Stand

One of my older builds, this is a headphone stand for the Steinberg UR12 audio interface. Although it’s not the best in class it was an affordable audio interface with XLR input, useful for someone that might be interested in recording content.

Google Home Shim

Google Home Shim

Rather than waiting any longer to have more time for write my bigger builds, I figured I should probably just get started on posting something and see where it goes.

Here it is, a shim for the Google Home. The basic goal was to create something that could increase the angle of the Google Home so that the status lights where clearer to see. Mine sits atop my standing desk making it difficult to see when seated. This raises the rear profile of the Google Home by 15mm.

New website hype!

Welcome to my new website! It’s full of literally nothing at the moment, but we’ve got to start somewhere right?

Over the last few years there have been a number of posts and builds that I wanted to do write ups for that never really made sense to be apart of Bluhex’s site. Therefore, I decided I would spin up my own personal site where I can put everything else.

So, what can we expect here? There’s basically two main types of content that I want to post here. The first are essentially logs and discussion on things that I build in my spare time. These will probably be quite rare, and a mix of hardware and software. The second type will be guides and tutorials for a variety of topics. Based on my backlog, these will probably revolve around the video and audio lessons we learned during out Let’s play days.

Well, that’s it for now, this is just the first iteration of the site and there’s still quite a bit I want to do, so stick around.
